Description

Released in 2007, Cartier’s Ballon Bleu collection is a quirky yet elegant addition to the brand’s substantial line-up of timeless watches. The name of this elegant model is derived from its two most prominent details—the blue synthetic sapphire “cabochon” that is mounted in the crown, and the “balloon” shape of the case. This glamorous 18k rose gold version features a standout diamond-studded bezel, within which sits a lacquered opaline silver dial with Cartier’s signature Roman numerals and blued-steel hands. Powering this model is the in-house automatic movement, Cartier calibre 049, with a 42-hour power reserve.
