The watch is also known for being among the first to be officially labelled "Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified" on the dial, thanks to its excellent 1055 movement. In 2015, Rolex introduced a new 40mm model with an enhanced, modern design and an upgraded calibre: the 3255. This superb and very special 2016 version of that watch boasts a magnificent green dial to celebrate the Day Date's 60th anniversary.
