Not only that, but this is one of the last Daytonas to feature the modified Zenith El Primero movement, Calibre 4030 (distinguished by the seconds hand at 9 o'clock rather than 6). This movement is proving to be very popular with collectors and is holding its value well.

This Rolex Daytona 16523 has a Champagne Baton dial and a Bracelet strap. Due to age, this Rolex may not fall within our typical expected tolerances for timekeeping, and is no longer suitable for use in wet environments or submersion in water. In the interests of preserving original features, utmost care has been taken to sympathetically restore this watch. It has also been referenced against technical documents and manufacturer records where available to ensure authenticity and a clean history. To maintain the manufacturer’s warranty on this watch, it has not been polished in our service centre.
